This Luxury Hotel Group Is Going Big with New Openings in Prime Indian Destinations

Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Gujarat are next on the map for this iconic name in hospitality

EIH Limited, the flagship company of The Oberoi Group, has announced the addition of four new hotels across India under management contracts, further strengthening the Oberoi and Trident brands. The announcement was made during the company’s 75th Annual General Meeting in New Delhi.

The new hotels will be located in Goa, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Gujarat:

• The Oberoi, Gir – A luxury 20-key wildlife retreat near Gir National Park.

• The Oberoi, Hyderabad – A 220-key premium hotel at Knowledge City, Hyderabad’s commercial hub.

• Trident, Nandi Hills – A 150-key hotel set amidst the scenic hills north of Bengaluru.

• Trident, Fort Aguada – A 170-key hotel near the historic 17th-century fort in Goa.

These properties are part of EIH’s robust development pipeline of 25 properties—including 22 hotels and 3 luxury boats—targeted for completion by 2030. The pipeline spans 16 projects in India and 9 international destinations including London, Egypt, Bhutan, Nepal, and Saudi Arabia. Once completed, 18 hotels will operate under the Oberoi brand and 7 under Trident, adding 2,033 new keys to the portfolio.

The company recently opened The Oberoi Vindhyavilas Wildlife Resort in Bandhavgarh, which was featured among TIME Magazine’s “World’s Greatest Places.” It will also launch The Oberoi Rajgarh Palace and two Nile river cruise boats in 2025.
