This multibagger stock bags new order worth ₹57 crore from Nuclear Power Corporation of India!

Recently, the company signed a five-year contract for traction motors with a major international company, with another contract under negotiation.



TD Power Systems Limited has secured a significant order worth Rs. 57 Crores from Nuclear Power Corporation of India (NPCIL) for the supply of specialized Induction motors. These low-speed motors, designed to replace imported high-speed motors with reduction gearboxes, will be deployed at NPCIL's Kudankulam plant.


Key features of these motors include adherence to strict weight constraints and seismic requirements, incorporation of titanium tube heat exchangers, and customization to fit existing infrastructure. This order, scheduled for delivery and commissioning between FY 2025-26 and 2026-27, highlights TDPS's technological expertise and commitment to supporting India's energy sector through indigenous manufacturing under the 'Make in India' initiative.


TD Power Systems Limited reported a strong H1FY2025 performance, with record-high revenue, EBITDA margins, and profit after tax. Consolidated total income surged 18% YoY to ₹5.89 billion.  Profit after tax climbed 31% YoY to ₹764 million. EBITDA margins expanded to 18.41%. Order inflow for the half-year reached ₹6.58 billion, a significant increase of 33% YoY, driven by a robust Q2 order inflow of ₹3.6 billion, the highest in company history. The order book stands at a healthy ₹12.34 billion, with exports and deemed exports constituting a substantial portion. This exceptional performance underscores the company's strong growth trajectory.


TD Power Systems Ltd is engaged in manufacturing AC generators and Electric motors for various applications which are specifically designed to suit the needs of the customers based on their requirements and specifications. The company manufactures generators, catering to conventional and renewable fuel-based power plants. Its output capacities range from 1 MW to 200 MW for steam gas turbines, up to 35 MW for hydro, up to 20 MW for diesel, and gas engines, and customized ratings for wind turbines. The stock has delivered multibagger returns in last three years.
